Maybe now we can begin to think of Spring?

Now that we've had our biggest snowfall in two years, 4 inches or so, maybe it's ok to start thinking of warmer weather. No doubt I thought we were going to get at least one big snowstorm this year. I was hoping for a good foot or more. I kept telling the kids, you'll see - it'll be up to your knees! I guess I should be happy with our 4 inch storm.
This is an image from last summer. Our driveway is like a bowling alley - long and narrow. I just love photographing the boys here because I'm a big sucker for a shallow depth of field and this setup allows me to blow out the background and have the subject just pop out of a field of blurred organic shapes. Add a little water and just keep shooting!
