Opening Day

We always look forward to Opening Day in the Sinagoga house and I especially love it because I have a good friend who always comes up with a ticket for me. Shhh - don't tell the boys. I grew up very much into baseball and I still am, to a certain point. We've gotten more into it over the last few years as the boys are growing up. One of the things I love about it now is that it's on TV almost every night and it's something we can put on and not have to worry about seeing any inappropriate content. Baseball and the Food Network, two things we can watch where you really don't have to worry about any ridiculous content that you don't want to expose little minds to. And all the better if they can learn the infield fly rule and the difference between panchetta and porchini.
This is a shot from the first time I took them to a game by myself back in 2006. They seem a bit puzzled. I hope they're pondering the absolute perfection that is 90 feet from home plate to first base.
