We always have pizza on Friday night. We're lucky enough to have a great pizza place just a few blocks away. But every now and again we make our pizza. When my wife was growing up, her mother made pizza all the time. Anne had her own way of making it and that's basically the recipe we use. Things are a bit too busy these days to allow time to make the dough so I usually buy two large pizza doughs from the pizza section of the supermarket. We keep it pretty simple and it is so good. But, as you can imagine, it's about more than just pizza or dinner. It's a great connection to family memories and a tasty way to pass those feelings on to our kids.
Tonight we'll be making our pizza for the third week in a row. Today's picture is one of the last slices from last week.
