I picked up a new lens yesterday in a bit of an impulse decision. I've read great things about it and its been really hard to find. I was in my local camera store yesterday and he just got a few in so I grabbed one. It's not an exotic lens, it zooms from a moderate wide angle to a moderate telephoto. But in shooting a few hundred frames last night I can see the level of sharpness and clarity is phenomenal. I can see how this lens will become one of my favorites. It's amazing how this equipment keeps getting better and better.This is an image of the year's first lightning bug the kids found last night.
