It was before 7:00 am. Matteo was awake and picked up our old digital point & shoot camera. It's basically the kids camera now. He started viewing the pictures on the screen. I quickly grabbed my D3 with the 50mm 1.4. I spot metered on his face, 1/50 - f1.4 @ iso 12,800. It was really dark in the room. I took the file into Nik Silver Effects Pro and gave it a bit of help. The result is pretty unbelievable. It's my new favorite image.

Amazing Results
